Chess UK and Prime Light enter into partnership

Chess UK, known for Mymesh and its secure wireless control system for Smart Buildings, enters a partnership with Prime Light, distributor of component solutions for the lighting industry, to further enhance its services in the UK and Ireland.

Prime Light will work with its well established network of lighting manufacturers and lighting integrators to further promote and distribute the Mymesh system. It fits well with Prime Light’s activities with sensors and lighting controls, and offers customers a one-stop shop for smart lighting solutions.

Mymesh, which has been available in the UK market for just over 2 years, has already seen major successes, from being recognised and winning a Lux Award in 2019, through to being chosen for large deployments all over the UK. These large scale deployments consist of shopping centers such as Bluewater and Westfield to Government agencies and departments such as Guy's and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to several Councils across the country.

Mymesh is the world-leading wireless system for medium to large scale professional environments across all sectors, from office and industry to education and retail. Its deployment enables clients to convert their premises to Smart Buildings - where the key benefits of the Mymesh system is security, scalability and adaptability.

Prime Light will have a focus on the distribution of Mymesh to the small and medium size lighting companies. Additionally, Prime Light will distribute to lighting integrators that bring lighting, lighting controls and building management together to achieve energy savings for their clients.

This partnership will enable us to have a wider reach in the UK lighting industry and support more clients. We recognise that a world-leading technology is only meaningful if it has a world-leading support behind it.”, says Jasper Hijink, Director of Chess UK. “This move enables us to put even more focus on bringing our message to the market”.

Sean Hounslow, Managing Director of Prime Light , says “We are incredibly excited to have entered into partnership with Chess, this is a major step for us on our strategic journey to become the go-to supplier for smart lighting solutions. With Mymesh, we can provide our established customer-base with a cutting-edge control system that offers a versatile solution to any project that requires controllability. It’s only been two weeks and already we have secured several large projects”.
