With a background of more than thirty years in technology and innovation, Ashley is a talented communicator and negotiator, highly skilled in managing and cultivating relationships with shareholders and stakeholders alike.

Ashley is focused on business growth strategies and business management to drive positive outcomes whether internally or with partners and clients.

Having graduated at Imperial College, Ashley went on to enjoy a career within the Ministry of Defence where he led on a wide range of technology programmes and was fortunate to travel extensively, operating internationally across both the civil and military sector.

On leaving the Government, Ashley sought to leverage his extensive technical knowhow and business experience and founded 8point3 in 2012 – a company focused on innovating in the IoT space and delivering connected lighting & smart buildings solutions to both the public and private sector.

When not working...

Ashley is a committed family man but occasionally finds time to enjoy a round of golf (summer only), skiing (winter only) and when it’s not raining….. cycling.
